Hello!
 
I’m Adèle, and I’m an animation filmmaker, writer, and storyboard artist based in Brussels. I studied Animation at Willem de Kooning Academie in Rotterdam (Bachelor), and then obtained a Master's Degree at ENSAV La Cambre.

At the intersection of animation and research, my interests lie in science, nature, social justice and other real-world topics, which I like to transpose through unusual, playful and sometimes absurd narratives. For silly stories have a lot of power too. 
 
Grounded in real-world contexts, I am drawn to the boundary between reality and the uncanny, playing with the familiar and the improbable to create space for reflection.
 
Oh, and I have - what some would call - an unhealthy fascination for penguins.
